I am retired widower living on Vancouver Island, an active person who likes the outdoors and boating . Interested in a lot of things and think of myself as not being to set in my ways. Belong to several organisation and attend their luncheons etc and would like to have a partner to join me, in these activities. Living alone is not my cup of tea. I am the handyman type and like things to do. I like travelling and seeing different places and meeting the locals. I am definitely NOT a couch potato .
Organizing is my big item and am the past president of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadron, the Yacht Club, and other organizations. My last venture was putting on a reception/dinner for HMCS Oreole, with all the usual dignitaries, speaches etc.
I would like a lady interested in boating and outdoor activities, and the other things that we could do together. I would definitely join her in the things she likes to do. It would be nice if she smiles a lot and puts up with my jokes, for I am NOT a serious type, I look for the funny side of most situations . The rest we can talk about and figure if and how we can get along.
