I am originally from Cape Breton Island of the Northern coast of Nova Scotia. As my adult years took me to Sherbrooke, Montreal and then due to my husbands work at the time, off to New Brunswick.After 20 years of marriage and two wonderful boys came the big “D” word. Having spent 14 years in Moncton,this old gal at the age of 50 decided it was time to put her dream in motion. On March 31, 2004 at 7:30 pm Mountain Time a gray Saturn appeared in the town of Fort Smith, Northwest Territories. This country girl was not disappointed when she found the end of the road after driving 6 days from dust to dawn. The peace and tranquility of Fort Smith has bought the quiet live style which turn me to books, education, biking, walking and glazing at the sky on cold nights to see the northern lights dancing and sizzling. It has also given me the opportunity to fulfill a passion of mine which happens to be traveling which goes hand in hand with the amateur photographer in me. I have had the opportunity with the cadet program which is a youth program I have work for the past 8 years of my life to visit the Yukon. The mighty Yukon River and other wonders of the Yukon are also beautiful to see. I also have ventured out abroad which was also a treat. Since I am of an adventurous nature I go not only for beach and warmth but history also which is why I choose Crete, Greece for my first holiday. And it was not a disappointment. The frost on the pumpkin might come earlier over here than anywhere else but the beauty of it all makes up for the bitter cold that the Great White North has to offer. Cape Breton and the sea will always be close to my heart but what one discovers about the north is only experienced by the true love for the land, the minus 40 Celsius, and the famous Northern Lights. I wouldn't change my life style for anything in the world accepts for the love of honest and caring gentlemen wherever he may reside.

I keep thinking about what I want in life and in a relationship. Relationship is the future and what I look for in the future is this, I want to experience this crazy love forever and ever, and grow old with my better half. I want to walk around our house in a big t-shirt with my hair down and catching my better half staring at how gorgeous I am. I want my better half to pull the covers off of me at night so that I have to get even closer. I want to see my better half laugh like crazy at me when I do stupid stuff, I want to have lotion rubbed all over my body because I laid out in the sun too long. I want to be held when I cry and smile with him when he smiles. I want to fall asleep in his arms every night. I want to fall asleep on his chest listening to his heart beat knowing that it beats for me and he will be the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing I see when I go to sleep. I want to sit on the beach with him and watch the sun set, and I want all the people who pass us to envy the love that we obviously would have for each other. I want to spend all night, and maybe the next day, making love with him with an undying passion. I want to cook a meal with him and totally ruin it and end up doing take out. I want to sit there talking to him for hours about nothing at all but in the same time everything or maybe we won’t talk at all just grin at each other realizing how lucky we are to have found each other. I want to lay with him in front of a fireplace and keep the heat going long after the fire goes out. I want to be all this and more with the partner I will be with and be crazy and in love for the rest of our life.
