Hey, I'm Shannon, my friends call me Shay. I have blonde hair and green eyes, but more importantly, a westie named Maggie...she's fabulous :). I am currently taking my undergraduate as a student at Queen's University, studying Nursing Science. I'm hoping to take medicine after finishing my BScN and maybe get into paediatrics. I love to play and write music, and you can never find me far from a piano or guitar. I really enjoy athletics, and play a lot of rugby and basketball. I basically immerse myself in anything that involves the outdoors, especially sailing and snow boarding! I love being outside, but sometimes I just need the quiet simplicity of the indoors, curled up with a good book. Spending time with my good friends is a pass time which I greatly cherish, and I wish I could say that I found the time to do so more often. I love just going out and dancing the night away, or finding random adventures which hopefully leads to meeting new people. Family is a necessity for me, and I love to volunteer and teach piano lessons (anything that involves children really). In the end I'm just me, fun and quirky. I love day dreaming and empowerment, barefoot dancing and creating, loving freely and wondering, kissing snowflakes and fearlessly reading while walking... but most of all, just laughing.
