I was recently widowed and miss the pillow talks & cuddling of a mate. I still have many interests & am involved in summer theatre, & entertaining at the local Nursing Home. I play Bridge at the local club & at tournaments & have a good sense of humor. I'm an ex-teacher but for the past 30 years I worked 9 to 5 in my husband's dental clinic.I 'm moderately active & am enrolled in 30 minutes of daily workout for women & in bi-weekly swimming exercises. Altho' I'm not fanatically religious, church attendance &spirituality are important to me.
I am prompted to brag a little about my accomplishments. We were a large family during the depression years. For obvious reasons, I worked my way thro' High School, Teachers' College & Religious Studies, which was a great accomplishment way back when. After a few years of teaching in country schools I married a widower dentist & eventually went to work in his clinic. I've had many interests & was acting president or secretary for various organizations, including Toastmaster, Legion Auxiliary, Ladies Curling Club, Arts Council & Choral Group. I am an ATMGold Toastmaster, which has taken the fear out of public speaking.I love music & altho' I own 1/2 dozen musical instruments, am not very proficient at any of them but they are projects waiting to be polished. I also dabble a little in poetry writing & hope to write a novel in my retirement life.
I hope to meet a soul mate who will share my joy and enthusiasm for life & spirituality. I am young at heart & I look young for my age as I can't seem to grow any gray hair & have few if any wrinkles; so a slightly younger man would be acceptable to me. I would hope that my partner would be slightly taller than me & romantic & passionate. I am a one man woman & would expect the same. I would hope that we could have many discussions about things near & dear to both of our hearts & easily exchange life experiences. I would be prepared to accompany my partner to points of interest to him & I hope that my partner would accompany me to at least some of the things I enjoy.
