I am just a little tired of being alone, and I realize I'm alone because I'm different and don't plan on changing. What I need to do is get out there and try to find someone who likes me the way I am... adventurous, open minded, what you might call a "character"... I don't fit in any one category. I fit in many.  Rough around the edges, that's me. I'm outspoken, sometimes a little loud.  I don't dress or behave like most others. I do what I feel. I am housebroken, though.  You might find me wearing a cowboy hat, or a skunkskin cap; leather jacket, or Carhartts.  I am largely self taught, a high school drop out that can hang with the big dogs.  I love to read and write.  I am an artist but haven't done much lately, spent the past year getting used to Alaska.  Have a close nit group of friends here, looking to make more friends.   What you might call the starving artist type.  Outrageous sometimes, but politically correct as often as possible.  Very sensitive to others if they are sensitive to me too... loyal as a dog .  Very passionate about the things I do and the people I love.  I have had a very hard life but I have an upbeat outlook and am very perceptive. I despise  game playing, manipulation, anything that is not aboveboard.  I speak my mind, love to joke around about anything and everything.  Sexually open minded and like to verbalize my feelings and thoughts and needs.  I have my shortcomings... but I work constantly to make myself a better person. I am in vocational rehab due to medical reasons. I don't own much at all and like it that way.  Sometimes I take off in the summer to go out to my dad's homestead for a couple of weeks, and would like someone to go with me if they could. I have volunteered in a great many states for a great many gay and lesbian activist groups as well as a lot of theater work.  Won quite a few awards: rugby, volunteer of the year, employee of the month, etc. Ask me and I'll tell you more.

It's hard for me to describe my soul mate, I will know her when I meet her I hope.  It would be nice if she liked some of the same music, like punk rock, new wave, Garth Brooks, Techno, Musicals, Classical. Be cool if she liked theater, performance art, concerts, that kind of stuff...  She ought to like people watching, coffee houses, poetry slams, hiking/walking, airplanes, movies (at home and at the theater), books, journaling, DOGS, animals in general. She ought to be not too picky, not too prissy. A tomboy! Adventure!  Flexible, easygoing, wild at heart.
