I am a pretty out-going & friendly person. I am known for my sense of humour, which can tend to be sarcastic, and I tend to say whatever is on my mind. My friends would say that I am a little on the wild side....must be the piercings:)  I may be a little 'alternative' or a bit of a 'hippie', but mostly I'm just a regular Alaska girl, who can change her own oil & doesn't mind getting her hands dirty. I'm not the clingy/helpless type, but if you come change my flat, I'll still think it's really sweet! I grew up on a small farm, and would love to eventually live in one of the smaller Alaska towns, and grow some of my own food, etc. I have a very extensive family, 4 sisters and 3 brothers, so of course I have quite a few nieces & nephews, who I love spending time with. I enjoy hanging out at Humpy’s and Bear/Mooses Tooth with friends, but am not a party-girl. (Except on a few special occasions) I enjoy a wide variety of activities but am not real hard-core about any particular sport. Of course living in Alaska I love to go camping & fishing, but my idea of fishing is to relax on the bank with a beer and watch everybody else get wet:) I can often be found in Talkeetna or Hatchers Pass on the weekends, I spend as much time outside as possible. I enjoy baseball & hockey games, & but don't expect me to remember scores, I only care who wins.  (Red Sox or Aces) I love to read, mostly fiction, Sue Grafton, Nora Roberts, Robin Cook, etc. My music tastes are very wide, I listen to alternative mainly, but you can find Irish, Rock, Latin, etc in my collection. Except for some detours to Arizona and Utah I have lived in Alaska most of my life.

I am looking for someone who is easygoing,  open minded & non-judgemental, who leans to the left, not the right, and likes dogs (I have 2) and kids.I would prefer someone who is NOT a devout christian. I think carhardts are sexy, and is you skip shaving once in a while, I'll think it's hot! I love TV as much as the next person, but please don't be a couch potato. I love the outdoors, and if you don't, I'll just irritate you. And if you are a Yankees fan, well, I suppose I could get over it :) Just don't say anything about that traitor Johnny. Everyone has a past, just don't lie about it, but I don't need every detail either.
