I am honest, loyal, monogamous, patient, and trustworthy.  I believe I am a giver rather than a taker.  I have a fantastic sense of humor that keeps me going.  I know what it is to be hurt, so will not knowingly hurt someone else.    I love the outdoors: hunting, fishing, canoeing, four wheeling, camping (in a tent, not a motor home), dip netting.  I also enjoy reading, watching movies (home on DVD/video or at the theater), doing arts and crafts, needlework, and painting.  Although it is difficult to find a place near home to sail, I also love to sail.  I never did learn to swim, but love being near the water.  I can never get enough of the mountains.  When I hunt, I do not expect my companion to shoot my critter for me... and I do well with a .308 Savage lever action, or my Darton bow.   I am not afraid to get dirt on my hands or under my fingernails--it will wash off in time, or scrub off in less time.  Besides, that is what gloves were made for.     I currently live in a 2 story house with heated lower garage, but no running water or indoor privvy.  For that matter, there is no outdoor privvy either.... it fell into the hole!!  Not an inconvenience, but sometimes a blessing-- no water pipes to freeze in the colder weather!    I have been called sexy, but I find that offensive.  I would rather be noticed for my intellect, intelligence, sense of humor, and who I am.  I don't wear makeup unless going somewhere special, and keep my hair "wash and wear". My only concession to vanity is my nails.

  I am handy with a circular saw, skil saw, drill, screw pusher and hammafer.  The house was unfinished when I moved into it almost a year ago, and I have put sub floor and underlayment into the living room/kitchen combination with composite vinyl tile in the kitchen, and plush carpet in the living room. I painted the ceilings throughout, and the walls in the living room and kitchen areas after mudding and taping the joints. I also painted 2.5 walls in the bedroom area, and put down the carpet in there. I still have to replace the windows throughout as none of them open, and I do like fresh air once in awhile. Did I mention I am merely a tenant?   I placed fourth out of four in a beauty pageant and was named Miss Congeniality (NO, not like Sandra Bullock).

I hope to find a true friend, a soul mate eventually, who accepts me as I am, flaws and all, one who shares many of my interests, and who truly loves Alaska.  One who is a good cook (not TOO good though, as I still need to trim a few pounds and inches), because I am not that crazy about cooking.
