My ideal partner would be a woman of integrity who values his word more than his image. He looks good and is physically fit, but cares for his inside as much as his outside. He is intelligent, but more importantly, has common sense. He likes partnering on projects with me around the house, the garden, volunteering, but he also just likes sitting on the porch drinking coffee and talking – or not saying a word. He cherishes the time spent with me, but has his own work, interests, passions, and friends outside of our relationship that helps him to grow individually. He knows he can talk to me about anything, but doesn’t feel he has to do that just to satisfy me. He does it because he trusts me with every word. He also listens so I can talk, and he can remember conversations that matter! He likes to be touched and touches me back, reaches out to hold my hand, opens the door for me, and respects that I’m a strong woman who can sometimes be fragile. He knows how to be a man of strength and protection, but also can cry at a sad movie. He wants to be respected and accepted as much as I want to be cherished and protected.
