Been busy counseling but lacking the love of a devoted partner to come home too!

I am 24 years old, native Texan moved to Alabama in 2002. I currently hold two degree's working on finishing my B.S. in Human Development and Psychology. I own my own business that is a non-profit (we do take donations) 'network' created for people with terminal illness's, or any problem emotionally, spiritually and more. We are an outreach group that provides counseling and much more. That pretty much answers what I do, I am a Counselor, continuing my education. I have close family ties, hopeless romantic. Most importantly I come with a past, the present, and a growing future. There is a lot about me as a person and its hard to put into a small square box. I love people, love to make friends, hopefully more, drop me a line and get to know me. "In life you have two choices: take a chance...something good may happen, or something bad may happen but something will happen. Or, you can choose not to take a chance/risk and then..nothing happens...what kind of life is that?"

I graduated from HS in Houston Texas top of my class. I obtained an associates in paralegal studies in 2005, I then joined the United States Army Corps of Chaplains where I trained to become a Crisis Counselor, my rank or official title was 2nd LT (Chaplain) S. Bentley. (Team Leader AL,2nd Div.) I then received another associates in Liberal Arts/Studies, a B.S. in Human Development and Psychology, now working on my Masters most likely going for Forensic Psychology. I recently founded, own, and run a non-profit counseling service for those who are less fortunate.

Growing up I was heavily involved in theater, choir, band, orchestra and was the only freshmen to letter in theater and choir.

I was in the world renown Houston Children Chorus for many years. I now write, sing, compose my own music for my own pleasure.

I am a published author "Twilight Musings.", I was named Poet Lorie t of 2006-2007 for the National Poets Society.

Now I continue to write, compose music and run my counseling business...so I guess that is something to be proud of..just want to give back to the world what the world has given me.

It is hard to describe my soul mate, or exactly what I am looking for in the person I am looking for. One main issue comes to mind and that is I definitely am looking for someone who is honest and can and will commit. I am almost 25 years old, and not getting any younger. I come with a past, present and future. I need and want to be with someone who can understand that and understand me. Someone who is willing to grow with me, learn with me, teach me, listen and be heard. I have been through a lot in a short time, I need someone who is willing to be understanding and accept me for me. It is time to give love a chance, true love, not a tango under the sheets.
