What's up guys.  I'm a very average, normal, all-American guy next door type...the quintessential Southern gentleman who enjoys sports, the outdoors, and having a good time.  I'm in graduate school at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and am very professionally oriented.  I consider myself stable, with direction in my life, and would really just enjoy getting to know some like-minded people.  I would enjoy getting to know someone in a similar professional field to my own (health/medical, social services, education, legal, etc..."people professions" if you will), but of course, anyone is welcome to apply :-)  I'm a very masculine guy and sometimes even have a hard time convincing people I'm gay :-).  My attractions lie with similar guys who are very laid back, down to earth, level-headed, and enjoy having a good time.  I'm much too laid back for the dramatic lifestyle so typical of gay scenes.  I'm not much of a "clubber"...you're more likely to find me at the local sports bar playing a game of pool (at which I suck), drinking a cold beer, and catching a game.  I'm very friendship and family oriented...both are very important to me and I plan to have a family of my own someday.  I enjoy reading non-fiction, mostly social-political-psychological stuff, and I love to be spontaneous and travel when I have the time.  My favorite place to be is the beach.  I love kids and dogs and plan to have plenty of both someday.  I'm 25 years old, but pretty mature for my age and hope to be in a place within the next 5 or 10 years of my life where I can pursue this.  I have little time in my life for games or b.s. or poeple who are unsure of what they want out of life, and certainly no time for those who don't have their emotional baggage in check.  If you'd like to talk, hit me up.

I've recently graduated college (yeah, at 25, i know) and now I'm pursuing my Master's degree at the University of Alabama, two master's degrees actually...Roll Tide!  I work in the human services field.

Someone who bears an uncanny resemblance to the previous description :-)  Just be a genuinely nice guy and have a cool personality with a kick ass sense of humor and we'll be alright.  Distance isn't a big deal right now.  I don't have much time for a relationship per se, and while I'm ultimately (and honestly) looking for a great partner and dad for my future kids :-) for now I'm just looking to get to know some cool and interesting people.  Do they make gay guys cool and interesting anymore?  I'm not into drugs...i'm very sane, very "normal" (whatever that means) and stable...you be too.  As far as the physical stuff goes, I'm 5'11, 190 average/stocky build, not fat, but not skinny (how many times have  you heard that one, right?).  I have brown hair (buzzed mostly), hazel eyes, stache and goatee.  I don't consider myself "athletic" or "fit" or a "jock" type, but I do enjoy staying active and taking care of myself...I appreciate the same in other people.  I'm not really into being "picky" but I've never found myself attracted to overweight guys.  I'm pretty all-around average and tend to go for the same.  I'm told I have a pretty "preppy" or "fratty" style (not sure if that's a good thing), but I'm by no means cocky like some "preppy" and "fratty" guys I've come across (no offense dudes).  Just layin it all out on the table so you can make an informed decision as to whether or not you'd really like to get somethin goin :-)  I'm lookin for friends...cool friends...if you think you qualify, drop me a line.
