I'm a Texan lost in the desert.  It's sad, really, I tried climbing a cactus once and it didn't work out too well.  I'm kind of a nerd; I love to read, debate, and learn about everything I possibly can.  I also like martial arts, weight lifting, hiking, and play wrestling just for the fun of it.  I'm a good cook.  I write for a gay conservative blog.  Uh...oh, yeah, I'm a wine and beer snob, too.  I can't drink the cheap stuff.  ;-)

I'm an EMT, training to be a firefighter, and I'm studying emergency management.  I've also studied modern Hebrew, Arabic, American Signlanguage, American History, Constitutional law, and a host of other subjects.  I'm typically top of my class.  I'm not just in it for that slip of paper that says I graduated, I really want to be good at what I do.

I'm looking for a girl who's open-minded, femme, nurturing and fun.  Someone who is girly, but not so much so that she's afraid to get a little dirty (you really need to at least be able to change a tire).  Another brainiac would be nice, even if we don't agree on everything.  No swingers.  Swingers are creepy.
