I am a musician who enjoys life. I perform with various groups.  I retired early after teaching music in the public school system for 29 yrs. I volunteer at my church office 4 mornings a week as a receptionist and admin. assistant to one of our pastors. I appreciate experiences through my physical senses, i.e., fragrances, textures, sounds, sights, flavors, as well as euphoric sensations. I enjoy humor and laughter but understand pathos and sorrow. I treasure my family and friends as well as the times we spend together. I was married for 22 yrs. and have been .../... for 6 yrs. I consider myself creative, patient, caring, and honest. Communication is important to me. I feel it best to resolve issues rather than let things fester. Life is what you make of it and there is so much out there to experience.

My accomplishments? Raising a beautiful daughter who is now in college. I've been blessed with the opportunity of traveling to China in the summer of '05 and Italy in the summr of '08 as a musician. Next stop is Carnegie Hall in New York in the spring of '09.  I am also proud of surviving breast cancer and have been in remission for 8 yrs. If you're wondering, I had a lumpectomy and "the girls" are still intact. LOL

I ... best with other musicians but I like meeting people from different walks of life. I'm attracted to brains, wit, honesty and creativity as well as decent looks. I appreciate a man who values the same things as I do. Though I would like to consider ourselves as equals, I still appreciate being treated as a woman and appreciate simple courtesies like having doors opened for me on occasion or other simple caring gestures. I miss romance and affection and would appreciate a man who is giving in both of these. He would definitely get the same in return if not more.
