For starters, I'm 55+ but wanted to be in the 48+ criteria! I'm considered attractive,  intelligent/street-smart, good sense of humor, compassionate, sensitive, vulnerable, paradoxical. I love music (can't live without it), enjoy dining in/out, movies, reading, theatre, watching sports (especially tennis), love The Sopranos and Six Feet Under, know what I want and what I don't want (been there done that).  I love to travel, especially internationally, and have probably visited most countries, besides the Far East and "down under" - definitely want to visit the latter one of these days.  I am from South Africa originally and still go back to visit - love it over there!  I am not religious but have always been interested in the different philosophies - am probably more "drawn" to eastern philosophy so if you're a "born again", we'd have nothing in common!  I'm pretty much middle-of-the-road, bending more to the left than the right!  I like people and get along with most.  I was also born with an innate capability of distinguishing what is b.s. and what is not.  I go to the gym 3 times a week (at least try to) for cardio and fitness reasons, not for weight problems -  have maintained approx. the same weight since my late teens!  I have 2 sons whom I am very close to - I will do anything in the world for them. Finally, am not into "romantic walks on the beach" - its so not me - besides, my hair gets curly! Someone once told me:  "Dance like no-one's watching; sing like no-one's listening; love like you've never been hurt; live like its heaven on earth" - I try to!
