I'm an avid reader and writer, I love the smell of the ocean and the serenity it brings to me!  I'm a firm believer in giving Respect and Trust first and foremost, until I'm proven wrong or cheated... I see the cup half full and do my best to bring a smile and sparkle to those I meet, I try to look everyone I meet in the eyes and worry when someone doesn't look me in the eyes," what are they trying to hide" ?, I don't want to be saved rather, lent a helping hand  when confronted with hardships, that helping hand would be a shoulder to lean on and a sounding board, I don't need a man to save me, just be there to be of comfort!...Being the Mother of two fairly grown young men, I'm not looking to be a teacher or a Mom to the man I fall in Love with, I hope we each bring our own knowledge to the table,  to share experiences yet to have and, ideas that differ from my own!  You know when things click or they don't, and I don't like being lead on, if we don't click, my feelings aren't hurt, I believe in friendship on many levels and being mutually attracted doesn't mean we are compatible, my feeling won't be hurt!

I love to write and until the last 10 years kept my writings to myself, I have since had at least a dozen peices published and several put to music, and I'm currently working on my first Novel!

When it comes to my DREAM MAN, I do have things I look for, well groomed hands and feet are very important to me, a man who can confidently wear jeans, boots and a jacket, a fisherman's sweater in the snow and flannel p.j's around the house!  Celebrate Holidays willingly, holding a door for as many people as need to pass through, not wishing someone else would take over the task! I find a man that can hold a group spellbound while telling a story is a major turn-on, and remembering to keep me in sight without having to hold my hand throughout the evening, knowing that I'm safe and proud of who I'm with, not needing to prove we're together...Looks wise...long hair, short well-groomed hair, shaved, a man makes his style not his hair!  Tall, Dark and Handsome is a plus though not a pre-requisite, just be true to who you are and be respectful of those around you and you could easily turn my head!
