I am someone who loves the company of those close to me, and finds nothing more satisfying than being around those I love and cherish.  I tend to keep to myself otherwise, but when someone is around to "entice" me out of my cave, I can be extremely social...it just takes the right guy!  I am extremely flexible when it comes to social interactions, and am always willing to "go with the flow".  New experiences with exciting people make me thrive. I don't have much, and I don't need much.  My needs are simple, but my moods are complex.  I am extremely passionate about my relatioships, and can be very demanding, but at the same time, extremely loving and loyal.  I am fine with everything from dining at a fancy restaurant to walking to the local taco stand for dinner.  It's just quality time with the right guy that gets my juices flowing, regardless of the traditional "trappings" of romance.

I attended UC San Diego, and was awarded a BS in Chemistry in 2000. I am attending grad school at UC Davis currently, working toward my Ph.D. in Genetics.  I was also an inaugural scholar in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute's Integrating Medicine into Basic Science fellowship, and UC Davis was the flagship for the program, so to speak, so I am particularly proud of that disticntion!

My perfect man is someone who finds the goodness in people, respects his fellow human beings of ALL walks of life, and who is open and honest about his life and his relationship with me.    I cherish intelligence and goodness above all else, and am the most drawn to someone who sees life as an experience and as a learning process, and who doesn't approach life with too many expectations. My perfect guy's interests can be extremely varied, and I would strive to include his interests with my own.  I prefer someone who has opinions and convictions, but who is also open to new ideas and experiences.  I also prefer someone who is secure with his sexuality and who loves sex, as it is something that I  cannot live without! Physically, I do prefer someone who is attractive, fit, and with hopefully that beautiful "mocha" skin tone, but I'm not extraordinarily picky.  I just have a "thing" for Latinos, Southeast Asians, Middle Eastern guys (Israeli especially), and guys with "Mediterranean" features.  And I do have a penchant for men with more lean and graceful frames, e.g. a "swimmer's build".
