While training for Big Sur, a running injury sidelined me permanently. Now I look at my bike more fondly (NOT a serious cyclist--max 40m). It feels like I never got past the twenty-something mind set: still want to have fun, still like speed (not in cars these days), still want adventures. Enjoy dining in/out: cooking big family dinners or just with you, especially fun if you help...or if you cook, all the better, while listening to our favorite music (rock n' roll, oldies, jazz, blues, bluegrass, world, whatever suits the moment). My serious side got me graduated summa cum laude from an eastern university. Thinking about a Master's, but the thought of school sends chills down my spine unless it were in architecture. Relearning calculus just for fun. Perhaps will tutor at the community college, which I did through college. When in training, I enjoy gym work, yoga/pilates, and try to mediate (admittedly could do better...need help!) When not training, enjoy day hikes, golf, camping limited to RVs, drives to Big Sur, Carmel galleries, films, concerts, the theater, board/card games, and of course, conversation about anything, everything, nothing. Might even talk me into going to a sports game. Started watercoloring, fun, but for which I have no talent. Starting out again on another adventure in life; hoping for a kind (important quality) and loving partner. How about you?
Let's discuss such things in person....
I'll know you when I meet you...
