I graduated from CSU Chico in Spring 2011 with a double major in mathematics and economics. In the fall, I will be starting the PhD program in economics at UC Santa Cruz. I am not sure exactly what I want to do once I get my degree, but there are many options, the most prominent being a professor or doing some kind of analysis for the government or perhaps an international bank.

As a kid, I played soccer, basketball, but most importantly, became an Eagle Scout, giving me a lifelong love and appreciation for hiking and exploring the outdoors. I also enjoy playing video games in my free time, but am trying to get back into other fun things to do. I am really looking forward to moving to Santa Cruz to enjoy the city and explore the Santa Cruz mountains. I like a healthy balance of spending time relaxing inside by watching tv, movies, and playing games, with hiking, wake boarding, and sports.

As for my personality, I am fairly shy in public, but warm up fast and am quite talkative with people once I get to know them. I enjoy trying anything new, especially if it involves traveling or hiking. Although I haven't kept in as good shape as I would like in the past few years due to school, I am starting to work out again this summer and love doing so. I very much enjoy studying economics, although I am not really too interested in the madness that is politics, even though they are quite interrelated.

For music, I mainly listen to progressive rock and metal, such as Avantasia, Ayreon, Seventh Wonder, Dream Theater, Sonata Arctica. I do enjoy most rock and metal from the US, as well as most genres really except for rap and country for the most part.

As for TV shows, I love comedies like Family Guy, Simpsons, etc, but most recently have been really interested in anything that has a really good storyline and some intelligence like Dollhouse, Firefly, Castle, Jericho, True Blood, Spartacus.

Well I really don't like bragging about myself, but I guess my notable achievements would be being an Eagle Scout, and having honors in economics as well as the Academic Achievement Award for economics for my graduating class.

I really am just looking for someone that is genuine, nice, graduated from or at least in college, and enjoys some romance, intelligent conversation, and enjoys at least some of the things that I do. I don't have any particular type in general.
