As the title implies, I have a very strong attachment to words. So much so that I am intent on making it a major part of my daily way. In fact, I'm kind of drooling about it now. I'm also a major music fan, playing some, listening lots. To list what I like would be overkill so think Damien Rice, The Sundays, Bob Marley, Massive Attack, Ryan Adams, Beth Orton, A Fine Frenzy, Jurassic 5, and others. I play guitar and sing but only upon special request. I am addicted to baseball. I truly believe there are only two seasons in life: baseball season and not baseball season. I hate winter and cold weather. I recently moved from the upper Midwest and have had my fill for quite a while. I could live without TV if necessary and I don't own a cell phone. Really, I don't. I don't even want one. What this all means is that I have a pretty good sense of who I am and I know my basic boundaries. Now it's just a matter of making it all work for me. Hmm....

I'd like to meet someone who can put together a sentence without saying "like" seventeen freakin' times. Like, I mean, I know it's like, you know, like hard to do but like, if you try it's like, it's really easy... like. Obviously a sense of humor is a plus, too. Intelligence and communication skills are a good thing. It's hard to have a decent conversation with a wall. Trust me, I've tried. I'm alright with a few piercings and/or tattoos but if you look like you just stepped out of the Amazon, let me get you the number for National Geographic. Oh, one more thing. Just simply be nice. I can understand a bad day here and there but seriously, as Ani DiFranco says, "Just suck up and be nice." I'm not expecting Mother Theresa (as that would be necrophilia and illegal, let alone disgusting) but "kind to others" is not only contagious but attractive in a human being.
