A little about me.  My name is Derek, I am currently 24 years old, about to turn 25.  I consider myself to be a normal honest guy.  I love to be outside, doing whatever, just as long as I am not cramped up inside all day.  I grew up on the beach, so I am not really that fond of it, but I am always up for going.  I really enjoy snowboarding, although I haven't been in the last three years.  I like to go to the gym, but I don't like to make my muscles huge, usually I just go to stay in shape.  I love to run, from the treadmill to the beach, to the trails in a forest.  If you would like to know anything else, ask me, I am a very open person.

I am very proud of my family, as they are proud of me.  I graduated from high school in 1999 and went to college for a couple of years.  I then joined the Marine Corps, I have been in for 3 years now.  I am extremely proud of deploying to Iraq twice, and knowing there is another one in my future. 

I would like to meet an honest girl.  She should be in college, or already done, and goal oriented.  I want a girl with a plan.  She should share some of the same interests as me, but not the complete same.  Attractive is always good, but not the most important thing in the world.  I don't know, I am not that picky of a person.
