Experiment with a Chemist
I would describe myself as intelligent, well educated, honest, masculine, affectionate, and fun to be with. I am a very loyal, dependable friend and companion. I won’t disappear when the chips are down. I'm kind, very affectionate, compassionate and non-judgmental. People are not afraid to share their inner-most problems and worries with me. When they do, I'm always sympathetic and understanding and try to help if I can. I like being outdoors better than indoors and I spend a lot of time gardening and working on my landscaping. I'm not obsessed with having a perfectly manicured lawn and garden--I just like growing things. I’ve been fascinated by chemistry, biology, math, physics, and science in general since I was a kid. I'm also interested in the fine arts, cinema, literature, investing, politics, and most kinds of music (with the exception of rap music and hip hop which I just can’t stand). I love reading and learning new things. I probably spend an hour or two every day reading, starting with the morning paper. I have a Ph.D. in chemistry and a minor in math. My father was a university professor and I come from a highly educated background. Some people might consider me some kind of brainiac, but to be honest, I've never thought of myself that way. I've always thought of myself as a hard worker and that whatever success I've achieved in life to be the result of hard work and dedication more than anything else. I have a great sense of humor and I love comedy and laughing. I don’t mind laughing at myself and I do it fairly often. I love animals, especially dogs. I have a German shepherd named Zoe whom I love dearly. I have been financially successful enough that about a year and a half ago I was able to retire early from the biotech industry. But I'm getting a bit bored and thinking about starting a new (part-time) career, possibly teaching at the college or junior college level.
I have a Ph.D. in chemistry. I worked the last ten years in the biotechnology industry.
I'm only interested in serious relationships, either friendships or long term relationships. I'm not looking for one-night stands. I’d like to meet someone who is masculine, intelligent (not necessarily highly educated), witty and knows how to carry on a good conversation. You’re not afraid to love or be loved and you like being intimate. You need to share some of my interests and have some of your own that we can share. I’m not looking for a clone of myself. You need to be able to enjoy a night on the town as well as a night spent at home together just enjoying each other’s company. If you like spending time cuddling up in front of the fire or watching a good DVD, that’s a major plus! You’re comfortable being gay and in no way ashamed of it. I believe that honesty is one of the most important keys to a successful relationship. If you have trouble being honest, then we aren’t meant for one another.
