I am a Registered Nurse who works to live, I do not live for my job.  I am described as more on the adventurous side.  I lived in Alaska for nine after going there on a cruise, it is the most wonderful place on earth except for those long dark nights in winter.  I drove my motor home down to CA from Alaska as a travel nurse.  My first assignment was in the Monterey Peninsula area.  I am new to the SF Bay area and am waiting for the rain to stop to be able to go out and explore more.  I like to outdoors: fishing, walking the beaches, exploring new towns.  I prefer smaller towns or rural areas and am envious of the people who have these beautiful farms and ranches around here.  I enjoy travelling in my motor home because it takes me to new places and meet great new people.  I tend to be spontaneous in nature, trips are more fun when you see a place to stop on the spur of the moment.  I am a romantic at heart and love doing small things to show my feelings daily.  I am considered to be an honest person believing that dishonesty only puts a wall between people.  My favorite channels are Discovery, History and Fox News.  I really enjoy following science such as; Hubble telescope, earthquake activity and volcano activity.  I have a daughter in-law that is a volcanologist so I get to see her work from around the world.  The most beautiful things I have seen are the northern lights, glaciers, coral reefs and Alaska from the land, air and sea.  I would love to explore California because it is such a beautiful place.  I would describe myself as being more on the casual side but can dress up for occasions.  I am a bit on the old fashioned type, like doors opened, help with coat on and the man is the head of the household.

I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Nursing at the age of 41.  I put myself through school, worked full time and raised 4 children.  Most of my friends I have had for many years and they are dear to my heart.

I would love to meet a man that is ready for a future with the right woman.  He knows what he wants and goes for it.  He is not just getting out of a serious relationship or marriage, he needs time to heal.  He is a good listener and talker and like a variety of fun things to do.  He has a good sense of humor is not moody.  If he needs time alone, that is OK.  He is not the controlling type and respects the opinions of others.  Agreeing on everything can be boring, that is what can make a relationship interesting.  It is very imprtant to me that our romantic life is open and each partner have a good time.
