My parents were German & Russian and I grew up learning both languages although have become rusty in both now.  Lived in the Orient during younger years.  Have traveled to Europe, on cruises that included going around Cape Horn in S. America and to Bali, Indonesia.  After retirement took 5 years of Chinese brush painting teaching me much patience and joy of this technique.  Publish a monthly newsletter for local senior center.  Am active in a couple of groups catering to singles and widowed people.  Enjoy all types of music performed at local sites such as little theatre and community halls.  Do I stay at home?  Of course, to watch some TV or bury myself in a book -- I am a frequent patron at our local library. I write well and am writing my autobiography on the computer at this time.  It has taken me almost 5 years and I am still not finished.
