Hi all.  I just moved into the area from Bangor, Maine; actually about two weeks ago.  I JUST got an apartment here in sunny San Mateo.  I am beginning to get a feel for the area and can actually get to a Safeway without consulting a map!  Kudos for moi!  Anyway, I still love Maine.  It's a beautiful state.  Why did I move?  Just for the hell of it.  I wanted to experience something I have never done before.  With school and/or a job tying me down, I just never had an opportunity before.  I can be a homebody and sometimes it takes someone to drag me out kicking and screaming.  Once I'm out though I cant fathom why I stay inside so much.  I can be quite an awkward conversationalist.  Once I warm up though, I am good to go.  I love trying new things.  I love interesting people.  People from other countries or backgrounds dissimilar to my own facinate me.  I think it is the Gemini in me.Currently, I trying to learn the area.  I'm still on my vacation, so I don't have a job yet.  <plug>  If anyone knows of any job openings in the mental health field (specifically residential counselor work)  around the San Francisco/San Mateo area drop me a line.  : ) In addition to memorizing maps, I am trying to learn Spanish.  In Maine, its pretty much caucasion/ english.   I was very shocked to learn just how high the spanish speaking population is here.  I knew it was high, just not this high.As for activities.  I plan to join the gym agian.  I have before for about 3 months and did quite well, but had to stop.  I think one of the suppliments I was taking was giving me headaches.  I LOVE to hike and bike.  I'll probably get a 10 speed soon. I'd really like to join one of the bike clubs in the area- maybe the one in San Francisco.

I tend not to like braggarts and those who are full of themselves, so I will keep this brief.  One thing I would like to share is my experience driving across country.  It was increadible.  One must do it at least once in ones lifetime.  Set aside a month and just do it!

I've been getting some winks from people with no picture.  I am sure you all are wonderful people, but I'd kinda like to see who would like to meet me.  That said, I generally don't reply to those without one.I someday would love to marry my future handsome latino husband who just happens to be a plastic surgeon here in San Francisco.  Till then, heh,  I'd like to meet someone from here who is around my age.  Accents are a HUGE turn on.  Dunno quite why but they just are.  I like tall dark and handsome men.  I have this weird thing for dark brown/black eyes.  You don't have to be built but it certainly is a bonus.   I'm attracted to masculine men, though I've known my fair share of dandys and it is they that tend to be some of the most colourful and funny people that I have ever met.I love passionate men.  By passionate I mean that they are so driven by something that they need to tell someone as not to explode from the excitement.  I love adventure- seeing new places and trying new things, this at times is my passion.  Though I'm not quite into extreme sports or anything, I do like to push myself at times.  For example, on my way to CA, I stopped by the Mohave Desert and I just had to climb that HUGE sand dune.  It was just me and Gods country and I tell ya, I loved it.Welp, I should stop now.  Looking back at what I've written I realize that I've just blurted out the first thing that comes to my mind and it nearly doesn't make sense.  I'll most likely revise later.  What I've told you is ideals.  It certainly isn't a requirement though for me responding back.
