I love to go on adventures and have fun. I'm a film student at SBCC. I love the simple things in life, and looking at stuff in a different way.
I was born in france, raised in mexico for 12 years, and moved out of my house when I was 15 to move to San Diego with my aunt n uncle. Now I live in Santa Barbara for college. Brief enough??? lol
I don’t know what to say really about myself, cause I still don’t know who I am yet. Sure I know what I like and what I don’t like. But who I truly am, is still a big mystery to me. I mean I just became an adult ; I don’t think necessarily I’m supposed to know who I am yet. Or am I??? Umm… ok let me try: I’m Maira, I'm a Lez, I'm a natural blonde who dyes her hair red, I’m an environmentalist/vegetarian, I'm honest, uber caring, funny, smart, I want to be a producer, cinematographer, & a movie director when I grow up more .... and I want to make documentaries about social justice issues; such as whaling, so I can spread awareness and help stop the injustice.
I lived in Mexico basically my whole life. So I know spanish fluently. I was born in France but I don't know french all that much, unfortunately... :( I did theatre in high school. I mostly did backstage stuff: Director, assistant director, stage manager, etc... A lot of work but it was fun organizing the plays and watch them come to life. But my main interest is film and the social justice issues. I've made a few short films and music videos yet nothing to big yet... I'm still learning.
