I am a very active, professional woman who works long hours and plays hard.  I  love outdoors activities such as hiking, rafting, kayaking, cross country skiing, gardening and even cutting my firewood every year!  I am proud of my accomplishments but continue to look forward to serving my community for many more years.  I have lots of friends but also need some alone time to just re-charge and be quiet.  I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, but I would really love to have a special guy to share my life with who also enjoys trips to the symphony or weekends at the folk festival.  Cooking together is a wonderful opportunity to share laughs, touches, and exotic tastes.  Family is very important and I am so proud of my two kids and two grandkids.  Living together full-time is not necessary and not practical for me at this time.  But, weekends and other special times are set aside for growing relationships and being with the ones you love and respect.

I am proud of the work I do and feel confident that I am really good at it.  I know that I am well respected in my community and that others often seek out my advice and assistance.  I am not highly visible but living in a small community means that I can step out when I need to and know I will have the support and encouragement of friends when I need it.

I am hopeful that somewhere out there is a man with a desire to have a caring relationship based on respect, trust, personal dignity and nurturing one another.  Honesty and integirty is a critical element for any relationship and something I must have in a partner.  I wish for someone who is physically fit and takes care of their health with a good diet, regular exercise and moderation with alcohol.  But, my guy also has to be able to kick up his heels once in a while; go dancing, jump into a raft and run a river, get dirt under his nails, sing songs, howl at the moon and play with the grandchildren.  I am not real picky, but good manners, the ability to have an intelligent conversation, a willingness to try new things and financial responsibility are important.  In otherwords, a responsible, self-aware, emotionally available man would be great!
