I enjoy spending great amounts of time outdoors and I'm always looking for something new to do on my days off from work. On one weekend in mid-May I went snow skiing, horseback riding, hiking up a 14er (I only made it to 13, 000' as I was sinking waist deep in the snow), and swing dancing. I know I appear to be a very busy person, but I always make time for friends. Twice this year I have taken time off from work to fly to Florida to attend a friend's wedding. Also, I do like to relax from time to time, staying in to watch a movie or hanging out at a coffee shop.
I have had the traveling niche for as long as I can remember. When I went to college I earned a BS in aviation and had planned to travel while flying for the airlines. Unfortunately, I graduated in the year 2001 which was quite a hard year for pilots. I taught others how to fly airplanes for a year and a half before I gave up on aviation for a career.
Thankfully I figured out how to travel with my backup skill which I have taken to the next level and acquired my master electrician's license. I do contract jobs and have time (and funds) to travel between contracts. Believe it or not, my last contract sent me to the South Pole to work for 3 1/2 months. I had an awesome time there despite the extreme cold. Ask me and I'll send you some of my photos from the trip.
Now I'm here in Colorado and loving the life here in this state. I plan to stay here and eventually buy a house again. A year from this fall I'm considering going to the University of Colorado-Boulder to earn my masters degree in electrical engineering.
I'm interested in meeting someone that is outgoing and not afraid to be herself. I love to be outside, so someone that loves the outdoors is a must. What do you like to do with your free time?
