I was born in Illinois, and moved around several times there before ending up in Ohio, where my parents still live.  I graduated from Ohio University (GO BOCATS!) with a Liberal Arts degree.  I've been an officer in the Air Force for 13 years and plan to stay until I can retire.  This is my 5th assignment, and I'll be working at Cheyenne Mountain until my directorate is moved to Peterson AFB.  I have one sister (younger) who also lives in Ohio.  I think my only hobby would be singing barbershop harmony, which I've been doing almost 20 years and still love.  I like to watch different sports, and play them even more.  My favorties to watch are soccer, basketball, and tennis, and favorites to play are golf, skiing, tennis, basketball, and bowling.  I have two cats, Jake and Elwood, but I've never had a dog. 

I've had a successful military career, including promotion to my current rank of Major, which is a competitive process.  I received a few Outstanding Performer awards in the early part of my career.  The first chorus I sang with took 2nd at a district competition.  I still keep in touch with a few friends from high school and see them when I'm home during the holidays. 

I'm looking for a woman who is like me, but also different to complement my strengths and weaknesses.  She would be honest, caring, loyal, laid-back, a good communicator, and stable emotionally and financially.  She should be at least 5'6" since I'm so tall, and must be physically fit.
