Life is an journey, we are what we have done or want to do.  I consider everything an adventure, but I take my responsibilities seriously.  My life includes my son, who is the light of my life, and my animals, cats and dogs.  I can't imagine life without them!  Work is a vehicle for survival - not an end unto itself.  Creative things are vital to me - painting, gardening, sewing - not just a hobby.  I need nurturing, sweet treatment.  If you want to be close to me, you must be a romantic with a practical bent - love me, hug me, kiss me, but be able to help pay the bills!  And you must love my son as well.  I love kids and pets - if you have kids and/or pets, they are welcome in my life.  I seek joy, humour and happiness.  I love to dance, paint, draw, cook (yes, and I'm good at it!) and garden.  I would shower my perfect man with love and affection. 

I'm not stuck on myself.  However, since my divorce (when my son was 2 years old) I have maintained my employment, supported him totally, bought and sold one house, am buying the home we live in.  I am sending him to Christian school, because he has learning disabilities.  I have worked in the same job for almost 17 years and have done quite well.  I am an artist; I do watercolors and draw.  I am intelligent, attractive, and looking for someone interesting.

He would be tolerant and kind, funny and loving, and willing to love my child as I would love his.  He would be Christian, with all the attributes that go along with that.  He does not have to be overly ambitious, but would need to see finances in a practical way.  Chivalry is not dead:  Open doors for me, give me flowers, send me to a spa!
