After leaving Chicago and living all over the US in boarding school and college, I've recently moved to DC after finishing grad school for music and work as one of the musicians at the National Cathedral and absolutely love my job. I love the city for its culture, diversity, museums and art and can't imagine living somewhere that wasn't close to water or didn't have great little hole-in-the-wall pubs with great wheat beer. The Cubs are my favorite baseball team and love to go see them when they play here in Washington (even though they lose most of the time!)
Some of my hobbies include sailing, running (I just decided to try my first marathon), travelling in Europe, eating very hot and spicy asian food, watching minor league baseball. I just went to my first Washington Caps game and loved it!
Though I am not the entertainer among my friends, I am more reserved and say something when it needs to be said. I am goal oriented, motivated, carry myself with a smile always striving to make others happy. I am looking for a woman who is driven, energeteic and has some idea what she wants from life. Most importantly I want someone who is comfortable in her own thoughts and actions and isn't afraid to suggest new things or opinions. I love a woman who can argue both sides of an issue and hold her own in conversation with someone she's just met.
