I am a 56 year old man, divorced with two sons ages 20, and 17 who do not live at home.  I work in a Catholic High School as an administrator and World History teacher. Some of my interests are history, of course, travel (road trips and national, international), NASCAR, baseball, fishing, politics.  Walks along the beach at sunset are OK, but I prefer a mountain lake.  I do like the beach (shore) though if I am there with the right person. I also enjoy antiqueing, auctions, and eBay.  I am not an expert or a fanatic about it, but it has become an enjoyable interest that I recently developed.  So, far I have only been an ebay buyer (with great feedback).  I am a former smoker, but I am somewhat libertarian on most issues.  Whatever my partner enjoys, (overeating, smoking, drinking, chocolat,etc.) is pretty much ok with me; as long as it is legal.  At my age I do not expect people to change, and that's OK with me.  If I can be of any help or support to one who needs it, I will be glad to oblige, it must be that person's freely chosen decision.

I have enjoyed successes as a teacher and school administrator during my 30+ years in the business.  I have also managed the successful political campaigns of a number of local candidates.  But most of all, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express recently.

I am looking for a friend, somone to do things with.  I would like to experience her friends, life, and family and have her experience mine.  If friendship and companionship develop into something more, that would be even better.
