I am a very easy going person. I just moved to Delaware from North Carolina, I have been described as a southern belle. I moved here to be a biology teacher at a school for kids with ADHD and other behavior problems, and it is hard to meet people due to my work Schedule. I live in Greenwood with anther teacher that I work with. i majored in Biology in college with a concentration in Zoology and a minor in Religion ( I know it is an odd combination) I really love genetics though. If I hadn't become a teacher I probably would have become a forensic scientist. I am a Christian (raised southern Baptist). I have very traditional beliefs and values. I have been to China on a mission trip where I learned to speak some Chinese. I want to travel some more someday right now I enjoy learning about  new and interesting cultures. I like to read and collect things and just hang out with friends. I recently found that I like horseback riding, and the theatre and music. I like Pink Floyd, Queen and Journey. I also like Christian music such as Third Day, DC talk, and Mercy Me. My favorite TV shows are Smallville, Friends, and Forensic files. I come from a large family I have an identical twin sister and a brother that is 10 yrs younger than I am and a sister that is 11 yrs younger than I am.  and I have a 2 year old nephew whom I adore. I would love to have kids of my own someday he is the closest thing I have to one of my own now.

I graduated from college with an outstanding amount of community service hours. I was a distinguished leader in an organization called Leadership service opportunities program. I was on the leadership team at my Baptist Student Union for 3 yrs. Where I edited our newsletter and I also organized mission trips. I have been on mission trips in the United states to Atlanta GA, New York, NY, and in several cities around North Carolina. I have been to a world Religions conference in Washington DC, and also served on my state BSU commetiee for 2 yrs. I went to China with the international Mission Board, and worked at Yellowstone National Park through the North American Mission Board. I lived with my sister for a year and helped raise my nephew and he called me mama before he called her mama. I have pen pals all over the world from Kenya to Australia. Like I said I like learning about new cultures.

I want a guy that share similar interests as I do. My number 1 priority is that he is a Christian whom has a deep passion for God. I am not really looking for someone who is ready to get married tomorrow but someone who has that in mind. Another priority is humour I need to have a guy who knows how to crack a smile. I don't really like the macho, gun carrying, redneck hunters, but I do want a guy who isn't more feminine than I am. Appearance isn't the most important thing to me but I want a guy with confidence and someone who is somewhat attractive.
