I was born in NYC, (whataya gotta problem wit dat) and grew up on L.I.
After high school I won the lottery, the draft lottery. Went in, and right to Viet Nam. The family had a Funeral Home in Farmingville N.Y. My dad retired in 76 and my brother & I ran it for a few years, and we sold it in 81. In between that I got married & and it was over by 81. I've been single ever since. My brother headed to Va Beach and I moved to Montauk Point. L.I. New York. (what they refer to as the "Hamptons") I lived there six or seven years. While I was there I got my real estate lic. and sold timeshares at Gurney's Inn, one of the few really high end resorts to stay open all year long. I also had fun tending bar there as well, lots of celebrities. After that I joined my brother in VA Beach whom had a restaurant & helped him do the marketing and then hooked up with the Bally Health club chain. I miss the shows Broadway had to offer. I'd like to go out and do those kinds of things again. Sometimes I miss the N.Y. scene and the NY. woman. All of us could dance all night then.
