I am a modern woman with old
fashion values. I am not very
computer savvy and had a
friend scan my picture. My
immediate family consists of two
grown married children (who
unfortunately live far away) and a
granddaughter. I have a
brother who is also my fraternal
twin and two older sisters. I was
born in Rockaway, New York.
Living in Hollywood, Florida
reminds me of home being that I
live so close to the ocean.

am a teacher in an elementary
school. I have been there for
the past five years. I enjoy
being with the youth of today,
for as much as I hope to teach
them, I am certainly learning
from them as well. I have
been told that I am engaging,

be serious when necessary. I
am easy going yet adventurous,
friendly, kind, honest with a
dry sense of humor. I can be
devilishly flirtatious and
playful and would like to be

me. I have had the
opportunity to do quite a bit of
traveling, however, I miss being with
a special person to enjoy the
trips, the adventure of
discovering new places and sharing
the experiences. Family and
friends are very important to me
as I am very nurturing as

I have two children who are
happy, healthy and successful. A
granddaughter who makes me
smile. I believe I have a lot of
good qualities that can make
someone very happy. I am
considered a good cook, baker, a
caring and thoughtful person who
usually puts the other person
first. I am thankful that my
parents encouraged me to have
a career , because after a
long hiatus of not working I was
able to go back into the
workforce and take care of myself
when my circumstances changed.
I think that I have been able
to effectively instill some
old fashioned values on my
students while inspiring them to
be the best they can be in
today's society. I have even been
able to encourage my students
to work hard and accomplish
goals never achieved before at
our school. My "spelling team
" brought victory and a trophy
to the school for the first
time.

I am looking to complete what I consider my recipe for a happy and fulfilling life. The necessary ingredient is a man with whom I can share, love, laugh and care. I would like to be with someone who is comfortable in his own skin. He should accept himself for who he is as well as the other person he is with. At this stage of the game, "we are who we are"! I enjoy any activities that have to do with water - ocean, lakes, pool and bath tub! I would hope that you would have the time, desire and ability to enjoy all of the yet to be discovered wonders that this world and a relationship offer. I like to read and discuss "important" issues. I enjoy going out for a pleasurable and leisurely evening with fine dining ( and not so fine dining). I love soft jazz,oldies,show tune played by a live band and would be equally comfortable to spend a romantic evening at home listening to some of my favorite music on my old jukebox. I am comfortable in an evening dress as well as in jeans. I "wow" at a beautiful sunset and would love to find that someone special to wake up with for a wonderful sunrise and plans for a pleasant day. I enjoy people watching. I love to stroll the boardwalk as well as take brisk walks around the park. I enjoy the occasional "junkets" to farmers markets, flea markets and garage sales. I very much enjoy live theater open air concerts,, modern ballet and Barnes and Noble where I can browse and sip some tea. I would like the opportunity to share new experieences and adventures with someone I can admire and respect. I hope to meet a man with whom I can connect so that we can happily look forward to whispering to each other " can't wait to share another day."
