Well, first off, I completely disagree with this "certified, mathematical" test they have on this site. The results don't seem to fit me at all. Before I start listing what I've done with my 18 years of life, I'll explain who I am inside. I'm reserved on the outside, but an incurable romantic at heart. I pride myself in my level-headedness and ability to look at even the most personal situations objectively. I'm never violent and if I have any qualms, I discuss them. I'll let you talk and I'll honestly listen with open ears, if you'll do the same with me. I'll do anything to keep my partner happy; smiles and laughs are worth more than any amount of money. Anyway, I'm 5'4'', and about 120lbs. I consider my looks average, but my friends to try convince me otherwise. I was born in Tokyo, Japan and moved to San Fransisco when I was young. I was virtually raised in Florida. I speak fluent Japanese; English, too, of course. I've studied Latin for 4 years, French for 2 and German and Spanish for 1, and I know some Russian, and Portuguese. I really pride myself on my worldliness. I've traveled to most "major" countries of the world including England, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Finland, Russia, India, China, Japan, Canada, Brazil and Australia.

I've been playing piano for about 13 years now and recently, I've begun to play blues, jazz, swing and bebop-style music. I was trained classically, though. (My most recent classic-obsession is Sergei Rachmaninoff; in my opinion, one of the most brilliant modern-classical composers of all.) I've been playing flute for about 9 years; piccolo for about 8. I just recently picked up guitar (about 2 months ago). I'm a certified private pilot (meaning, I can fly single-engine airplanes)(for 1 year), and I also have a soaring license (which I've had for about 2 years), and am a member of the SSA (Soaring Society of America). That reminds me; I'm also a member of CFHS (Central Florida Herpetological Society). Alright, last one. Heheh. I also practice kendo (Japanese fencing), which I've been active in for about 13 years. A big tournament is coming up next month, and I'm training for that now. This tournament only comes around once every other year, so I'm hoping I won't mess up! For a while, I worked as a commission artist. The biggest commission I got was for $300 (and can be found on my deviantART site). I also won 1st place in a city-wide drawing competition, 3rd place in overall show, and 3rd place in a state-wide drawing competition. Well, appearance doesn't mean much to me. I'm very much a fan of "inner beauty." I don't have much self-esteem myself, but I don't complain about it. I'm just me. As far as interests, I like to talk about intellectual topics; the newest topics in the news, or weather or scientific innovation or discovery or politics and the like. I like debate. It makes for interesting conversation. Don't get me wrong, though. I enjoy fun and games and humor as much as the other person. I guess, I'd like to find someone who knows the balance between seriousness and fun/leniency; someone who can read my emotions without me having to announce them to the world. Or maybe I'm looking for someone who knows the balance between emotion and reason. I think that's it. ^^.
