I'm a mild-mannered admin assistant by day and a superhero by night. Maybe not, but it would be cool, wouldn't it?

Me in a nutshell: total nerd, family-oriented (picture My Big Fat Greek Wedding, but we're
Croatian not Greek...I would go to the ends of the earth for them, so I still find it exceedingly
difficult to live as far away from them as I do), interested in adult conversations that don't involve work (spend way too much time with people who work for the same company...everything inevitably comes back to work).

Emotionally: I am a 12 year old. And a jerk.

Morally: I have morals. They don't always match up with those traditionally accepted by society, but that's not always a bad thing.

Physically: Heavier, taller, and paler than I want to be. Can't do anything about being taller, but I'm working on the other two. I want more tattoos and refuse to give up my tongue piercing.

Likes: good food (my standards are high when it comes to fine dining, but I'll tear into some pizza and wings, too), staying up late (I'm an insomniac, so maybe I don't like it by choice), fictional television of the non-reality variety

Loves: movies (especially midnight premieres), animals, the smell of bookstores, spending hours in a music store searching for new music to add to my collection (an actual store...I'll do iTunes or eMusic, but I love going to an actual store and looking/listening/stuff), good coffee, sheesha (yes, tobacco is bad, but you might as well have good quality tobacco every once in a while if you are going to smoke), the ability to be physically affectionate with platonic friends (hugging, cuddling, etc)

Guilty pleasures: ice cream, tobacco, gay movies, Jaeger, and spending an entire weekend afternoon watching British television shows on DVD (AbFab, Vicar of Dibley...maybe my actual guilty pleasure is watching something written by/starring Dawn French and/or Jennifer Saunders)

I've managed to survive this long. That's an accomplishment.

People who: real people with a sense of humour who don't get offended easily and who realize that family comes first (usually "family" can include said people, but that requires the ability to stick around when I'm being a sopping wet bag of emotional mess)
