I am a low maintenace, high energy gal that enjoys laughing and making others happy as well. I am kind, giving, honest, hardworking and assertive. I have met many goals, and have set new ones to achieve. I believe goals are important and lead us to improve. I have 4 children, but only two at home. One has recently moved out on his own and another chose to give dad a try at this whole parenting thing. So this leaves me with 2 children remaining at home and they are my world, but I now realize that I need to branch out and not define myself by only being a mother; for them and for me. I have been divorced for a while now and am able to look back to my marriage and look realistically at the things I could have done better...things that I am now able to see that are important that I did not see when I was in the marriage. I am the type of person that learns from my mistakes and believe I am able to see the real me in addition to hearing others when they tell me what they see. I may not like what I hear at the time, but will reflect upon what is said. I am able to say I am sorry when it is real, not just to appease others. I am wise enough to realize I cannot change others or "fix" their problems. I am a good listener and will give my opinion if asked. I am looking to meet my best friend. I was once given wonderful advice and that is to start out as friends and build it from there because in the long run, all the romantic intimacy (and our bodies) leave us holding hands and needing a best friend!
