I am basically a quiet person until I get to know someone. This is sometimes taken as being "standoffish", but is simply caution I exercise. I like bubble baths, candle-lit dinners, movies shared with a friend, woodworking, hiking, and camping.

I hold three advanced degrees, an MFA in painting, an MA in Art HIstory, and an interdisicplinary Ph.D. It seems like I am constantly producing new art, something that is an on-going process. Although divorced, my four children are all well adjusted and doing well (an accomplishment even under good circumstances, I think!).
I would like to meet someone who is careful about their appearance (I particularly like a good head of hair). You don't have to be a fashion plate, by any means, as I am convinced that true beauty comes from within. It would be nice to meet someone who likes both the simple things in life as well as kickin' up their heels once in awhile.
