I am a man of the theatre.
Currently I am majoring in
Theatre and English with a minor
degree in Shakespeare. In the
past semester I have performed
in "True West" and "A
Midsummer Night's Dream". I enjoy
school and love having deep
conversations about the
philosophies I learn within the
classroom. Hearing others' opinions
always fascinates me because I
want to understand why mankind
thinks the way that it
does.
I enjoy reading nearly
everything! From Plato and Socrates,
to C.S. Lewis, to present day
Sean Russell. I have no bias
when it comes to
Literature.
A good dish of Italian or
Indian food can always brighten
my day. I sometimes pride
myself on being on a connoisseur
of food, though I'm sure I
still have much more to
learn.
Nature is another love of mine.
I enjoy hiking, camping, and
fishing; I am not much of a
hunter. I love lying beneath
the stars and picking out
constellations and watch the moon
rise over the horizon. It is
beautiful.
I have been to Europe twice
now and will be going a third
time this spring. All three
times has been with a musical
touring group (both band and
choir). I have also been down to
Mexico to help build houses.
On the college campus I have
received awards for volunteer
projects. I am part of the
Honors College (and I love it!).
The Honors College takes on
people who can think for
themselves and have creative
solutions to problems. I have been
in a total of five shows, none
less than a major supporting
role.
I am really looking for
someone older, more mature, and who
has a pretty good grasp on the
world. I really don't enjoy
being around people who talk
of things they don't really
understand. This person must have
an interest in books. It
doesn't matter what kind, even
magazines. The person I am with
has to be open minded and at
least attempt to understand
certain things. I am almost far
more interested in a more
masculine man or average rather
than a feminine man. I have
nothing against them, they just
grate on my nerves. :) The
person also has to have a sense of
spirituality. It makes
talking about things more
interesting and also easier.
