I'm very laid back and easy going. I was raised in a very very small town in western Iowa and am grateful for that because of the values I learned. I learned to appreciate a lot more and not take things for granted. Living in Chicago has been quite an eye-opening experience, but one I'm thankful for. I'm a hopeless romantic and am hoping to find someone I can devote myself to, and get it in return. Personality prevails above all else. Looks are important as well, to a degree. I'm very spontaneous and outgoing. I prefer to live life on the edge. While you're thinking about jumping, I'm probably already halfway down.

I've been with the same company now (Bed Bath & Beyond) for almost 6 years. As much as I hate my current position, I love working there. It's very fast-paced and stressful, but at the end of the day, I'm happy knowing I've helped someone else get what they need. With the company, I've worked in 20 stores in 6 states. I like to get out and explore new places and meet new people.
I'm currently writing a book (kind of about my life, but from the outside looking in). It's not something I want published, but for my own good. It's been a long time coming, but hopefully I will finish it within the next year or so.
I woke up one day (2 years ago) and decided I wanted a change in my life, and hopefully one for the better, so I packed up and moved to Chicago. With no money in my pocket I managed to score a place to live and transfered with my job. 2 years later, I couldn't be happier and more stable than ever before. I've made SO many friends and even some I would consider family.
