I am a CPA with almost 30 years of accounting experience. Since 1998, I have work for IPSCO Steel Inc. in Muscatine, IA and am currently the Financial Services Manager. Prior to 1998, I work for Marley Pump, Inc. in Davenport, IA as the Plant Controller and was responsible for all financial functions for the Plant. I also own and manage a four-person CPA firm in Moline, IL, which I started in 1982.  Currently I spend what little spare time I have golfing and travelling. My children and I have taken several cruises in the last few years. My daughter and I just got back from a seven-day cruise to Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and Cozumel. It was an early graduation present for both of us.

In 1978, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. I earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major Accounting and Business. I passed the CPA exam in 1979. Right after college I worked for Arthur Andersen & Company in the Chicago office for five year. I am divorced with two children (Lucas is 21 & Jen is 17). In 1996, I accomplished one of my personal goals by running in and finishing the Quad Cities Marathon.
