I'm intrigued with life & all it has to offer.  Generosity of spirit, integrity, enthusiasm, interest in the world & helping others, spirituality, interest in learning new things are all traits that are important to me.  Friends, family, my animals & concerned stewardship of the earth are also foremost.  I tend to see humor in much of life (including my own actions) & love to play with language.

Some years ago I had the unique experience of facilitating the establishment of the first battered women's shelter in NWI.  It is still in operation today.  I've been in two long term relationships with women & have done relationship counseling for over 25 years.  I'm a professional sculptor as well & working on a children's book, so creativity is an important part of my life.

First I'm looking for friends and also fellow artists.  If one of those women becomes a soul mate she would be no stranger to long term relationships with women,  comfortable with who she is but always open to new experiences.  A woman who believes in monogamy & working through problems that may arise.  She should have a degree & profession that she enjoys (she may be retired) & should be in touch with her own spirituality.  She should be comfortable with being vulnerable & accept that in me as well.  She should be socially conscious & progressively liberal in her political thinking.  She should be warm & kind with an inner strength.
