I am a theatre person through and through. I love the arts in all forms and fashions, and I feel beauty really intensely. That's one of the things I like most about myself.
People are fascinating. I could listen to someone talk about something they're really passionate about for hours, because I get excited by other people's excitement. It takes me a while to make a friend, but once that person is a friend, I'll be there for anything. I've been lucky to have a lot of really good friends in my lifetime who have been there for me through really rough times.
I work hard to know who I am and what I need. I think self-knowledge is vital to making it through troubled times. Every day is a gift, and a life without regrets is the most satisfying.

I'm a hard worker at anything I commit myself to. I'm smart and can think creatively. I have a way with words that I'm very proud of. I'm a strong, resilient woman who has come through some hard times and is all the better for it. 
My greatest accomplishment was my acting/honors thesis production of And Baby Makes Seven at the University of Iowa. I oversaw and acted in that show and then wrote a 50-some page thesis about the whole process. Lots of hours spent in my college theatre building, months and months of preparation, four grueling weeks of rehearsal, but I've never been prouder. I surrounded myself with people I loved and respected, and together we made something really beautiful.

I hope to find a woman who loves art like I do in whatever form. A woman who is truly passionate about something. A woman who cares about what's going on in the world, in the country, or in our neighborhood. A woman who loves romance as much as I do. A woman who can make me loosen up when I'm being too serious. A woman with a big capacity to love. A woman who can be a good partner to someone who is so invested in theatre. It's a hard one, because it means being supportive even though I'm working on a show for hours and hours everyday. She needs to be independent to have her own life outside of me, but still values our relationship deeply. Being the girlfriend of a theatre person is no walk in the park.
