Might as well be brutally honest.  I've just gotten divorced - after 28 years.  But - believe me - I don't want to dwell on that.  It's a bit spooky getting back into dating after that much time;  a lot has changed.  I'm not really looking for a long term relationship right now.  Just conversation, companionship, and whatever else follows ;) I am self employed in a computer specialty area.  While I don't have lots of free time, my schedule is very flexible. Six miles a day on the treadmill - I think I'm in pretty good shape for my age!

I've raised (or helped to raise) a great son.  I couldn't ask for more.  He is my greatest achievement - by far. After dropping out of college and working construction for a few years, I returned to earn BS and MS degrees in engineering.  I'm pretty handy around the house and have a knack for keeping things running (sometimes well beyond their years).

Someone who likes to laugh, likes to have fun, isn't overly "moody". Preferably a political liberal - or at least open-minded. "Arm candy" would be nice, but a brain is more important. Fitness is important to me, though.  Too many extra pounds are a turn-off to me.  (sorry)
