I'm definitely no super-model...but who wants to be?  I like being me...except on days I'm out of coffee...
I'm an average guy.  I worked for many years as a restaurant manager until I decided I wanted more out of life.  Now, I am back in college, working toward a Master's Degree in French and Spanish (and likely Dutch and something else to follow), intent on becoming a college teacher and interpreter.
I love to cook, obviously I love to eat (now I do it more wisely...and it's paying off).  I am working diligently toward developing a leaner body.  It just makes me feel better.  Of course, so does strong, hot coffee or Earl Grey tea...
I guess I want the "whole fairy tale" as is said in a favourite movie of mine.  I want the man who is honourable, honest, has a good sense of humour and wants to walk in the rain with me....cliché maybe...but I would much rather watch Humphrey Bogart give up the love of his life in black and white than watch the current Hollywood full color and nothing left to the imagination version of romance...so...I am hopelessly romantic.  You know: candles, good music, a crackling fire,  Wanting someone you can share your life with, side by side, someone who will surprise you at work or at home with a single white rose, someone who wants to wake up next to you every day as much as you do him....that's the dream I'm chasing.   What about you?

No, really....I was in restaurant management for 20 years and now I am back in college.  My major accomplishments, as I see it, are sacrificing quite a lot in my life for the pursuit of a dream...I I don't intend to give up, on either part of that dream ( my career and romance).
