I am loyal, honest, caring and compassionate. I am an optimist and always look at the positive side of things instead of looking at the negative aspects of things. I believe that it is easy to complain and identify problems, the adult thing is to offer solutions and to be part of the solution I am a non smoker and a light social drinker and am looking for the same in a dating partner.
I could use more fun in my life as at this point I tend to spend alot of time at home. I do have five grandchildren and like to see them frequently. I tend to visit at their homes since they already have their entertainment there. Both of my children are grown and independent, so I am looking to meet someone pretty much at the same place in their life.
I would describe myself as someone with a good sense of humor, I enjoy jokes, although I don't tell them well. I can read them to you if I get one via email, but would never make in on the stand up comedy scene.

I raised two wonderful adult children who are wonderful parents. Both have turned out to be very special adults. He should live within 35-50 miles of the greater KC area. I think that trying to maintain a long distance relationship is very taxing and frankly I think I am too old for it at this point in life.
