About myself....well let's see now....I am a retired school teacher as of May '04.  I enjoyed my 31 years of teaching, but knew when to walk out.  I have no regrets of my retirement, however I still do some subbing.... for some "play" money.  I really like to travel to places I have taught about and have seen pictures of in text books.    I enjoy my two children and their families.  They are so very good to me.  I spend a lot of time with social friends.    I am a daughter, mother and a grandmother and love all of these rolls.  It's a little stressful at times when everyone is pulling at the same time.  I manage to accomplish all tasks.   I have lived in Benton  all my life.  I graduated from high school here in Benton.  Attended Memphis State, Paducah Jr. College and finally ended up with 3 degrees from Murray State   Then taught school for 31 years and retired in '04.     I married my high school sweetheart at the age of 19.......and was married for 29 years.  Then...BOOM...the big "D"......Oh Man!!!!! Was I ever put into shock !!!!!!!   Time has passed and I am doing just fine with my life right now. It would be nice to have someone to share many adventures with.    I am a very trusting person until .... distrust surfaces and then the bridge falls in,  ( if there is some dishonesty scouring,  it will surface in time).  I am a very fun person to be around ( so my friends tell me so).   What's important to me.........my family, my church, my friends and the freedom and beauty of  dreams we all share.

  Accomplishments.......two grown well educated  children  and their families. I have taught Doctors, Lawyers, Business People, Stay Home Moms, Dentists, Surgeons, etc., how to Read, Write and do Math  while having a wonderful time in school.  I have served on most committees in school and in church.

I would like to meet an honest, intelligent, sincere person with a great  (fun)personality.  Not self centred but willing to help others.  Someone that liked grandchildren and enjoyed travelling.  This list could go on forever !!!!!!!!!
