I am very passionate about my family, God, my oil painting and the significant other in my life... whoever he may be.  I love to cook, and of course that depends upon my dinner guests. Looking for that permanent guest so I can save the left-overs.  Just kiddin'. I love living in the country where I can raise a garden.  I love to watch the flowers grow and listen to the trickle of the fountain in my water garden. I love travel and camping in an RV.

I became a widow in 1984 and have had several relationships since, but obviously nothing lasting or serious.   I worked for the state of Kentucky for 22 years and retired. I have been involved with various part time jobs and traveled a bit since retired.  I like to keep busy and have volunteered in several projects.

I would like to meet someone who has similar interests, however, I do believe opposites attract and that is good when a satisfactory balance is met by the two.  I would expect if I find a person to be interesting then I would naturally find his interests to be of value to myself as well.  I believe your happiness would be essential to my own and that is workable.  He doesn't have to be perfect or be an accomplished oil painter.  I recognize and appreciate good qualities when I see them. Now it would be nice if he could cook but that is not a must. A little burned toast never hurt anyone! lol
