Hmmmm... I could have sworn I wrote something here already!  Tr u e, you're letting me down!!! lol  Okay, again..... lol  I'm a laid back kind of person... I enjoy a good laugh and try to embrace the humour in every situation (sometimes you can't laugh at the time it's hitting the fan, but eventually you can... and I do!).  Last September (WOW! I can't believe I've been back 9 months already!!!!) I moved back to the States after living in Europe (Holland... moved there to be with my ex) for 7 years.  Long story... we'll have to save that one for a cup of coffee *wink*.  I've done a LOT of soul-searching and I'm really and truly content, confident, comfortable... with who I am and what I want for my life.  I'm goals-oriented and always strive to improve my world and live better from day to day.  I love to give to others (...in ALL areas of my life *wink*), but I also love to get some of that back, not as an expectation... just sometimes you run across people who are perfectly fine taking, taking, taking.... can't say that I like that in a person. As far as looks go... I'm not a beauty queen, but I don't consider myself a prime candidate for a brown paper bag either.  ;op  I'm natural and real with myself and try my best to be that with anyone who enters into my life.  I take refuge with a few choice friends... love them to absolute bits... one of whom absolutely has my heart and knows me better than anyone.  I treasure her presence in my life because I know that since that is a mutual thing (and let me stress right here, it is PLATONIC... she is straight), it will always be there as long as we trust and respect each other.  There are secrets that I've been entrusted with by her and things I have told her that I've never told another living and breathing soul... and that trust I would never break, not even for a lover.  I hope that is something my spe

Sorry, no Golden-Globes or Pullitzer prizes here.  I am a plain and simple person.  My personal accomplishment for my life is just being able to say that I have experienced love... the joys and the pains of it... and I'm still standing, willing and ready to do it all over again with the right person. ;o)

You, my lady, should be a woman who is content, confident and comfortable (the 3 C's)... with who you are and what you want for your own life.  Like my straight friends do not want a lazy-arsed man, I don't want a lazy-arsed woman! lol  Seriously, I want to be with someone who also has goals and ambitions and is not afraid to get there... with or without anyone else's help.  You should be someone who enjoys life, love to laugh, smile and not be so self-absorbed that you do not see things around you.  I'm not looking for an Einstein, but you should be versed enough to carry an intelligent conversation at least about current events... things that affect our every day lives.  One of my favorite past-times is just sitting with some music playing in the background, cup of coffee or tea in hand and just talk for hours about anything and everything... from the weather to tattoos (nope, don't have any and I never will.. lol) to sex (no holds barred) to how the flip you play snooker (seriously, how do you play that game????)! lol  Just be you and let me be me... things should be fine from there. ;o)
