I don't like to brag.  I believe accomplishments speak for themselves.  But anyway here goes.  I graduated from high school at 17 and went in the Navy.  Spent two years on active duty stationed in Washington DC where I worked for the Chief of Naval Operations in the Naval Archives section.  I loved history.  I then was attached to a Naval Air Squadron.  After getting off active duty I staying in the reserves for 12 years and became a Naval officer.  While in the reserves I started my own business and have becoming financially successful.  I've been doing this for 26 years.  I love what I do.  If you EMail I'll tell you.  I'm somewhat paranoid about someone wanting me for me however and not for material benefits.  I love sports.  All sports.  We won the state high school baseball championship when I was 16.  While in Washington DC; we won the Naval District Washington Softball Championship.  I was an avid tennis player in my 20's and 30's and won several local tournaments in singles and doubles.  I also won a few racquetball tournaments.  While in my 40's I started running and have placed in my age group in the last 5 races that I have run.  Last week I ran a marathon in Huntington Beach, Ca with a time of 4 hours 6 minutes.  I placed 16 out of 66 runners in my age group.  This was my 1st marathon but won't be my last.  Well that's about it.  If you are interested or would like to know more EMail.  Thanks, bk

My soul mate.   Seems to be an overused term.  I believe long term relationships grow and evolve.  The obviously has to be an immediate attraction but I believe the inner attraction should compliment the exterior.  My primary hobby if you will; is running.  Obviously I'd prefer someone who has this passion but it's not required, although I would like someone who is physically fit as I can't just "sit around" for the most part.  I believe also that if you are physically fit that your appearance will reflect that.  You don't have to be a goddess, but pride in your appearance is evident.  I am looking for someone who would accept me and love me as I am.  Someone who would take the time to find out what that means.  That's a two way street however and I'm willing to invest the time with the right person.  I like to take spur of the moments trips.  I'm at a point in my life where I can do that.  I've raised my kids and would prefer not to do that again at the expense of doing some of the things I've wanted.  Is that selfish.  Possibly.  Love all types of food although I weigh 170 pounds; I can eat at will because of the running.  I love movies of all types.  I love to read anything almost.  I love intelligent stimulating conversation about history, politics, and even religion.  My mate should be independent about her core values but also love to simply be close to me and let me listen when needed.  Sometimes listening is the best medicine for what ails you.  Are you available?  If so EMail.
