Southern by birth and preference, but universal in mind set. I'vve always marched to my own drummer, and he's never let me down. I'm extremely well-educated, but I don't have a snobby bone in my body. I'm a multifaceted, open kind of person. I'm motivated, and have career goals that are drawing ever closer to reality. I've got a great big sense of humor, and I like to make people happy. Oh, and hey, I love to cook...but all in good time. :)
I've published a few things (won't say just what right now) And I'm working on degree #3
(won't say just which right now) as well as a few other projects. I'm working for a University, though in the past I've worked in the corporate world (very high-profile, no soul) before ending up back in academics. I grew up on a farm in Appalachia with five brothers and sisters...now I live in the Gulf Coast area, where the sun is warm, the breezes are balmy, and the outlook is great.
I'm looking for someone who loves life and herself. Someone not spooked by intelligence, who has her own life, gifts, opinions and ideas...intelligence doesn't equal education, nor the other way around...they don't have to be just like mine, either.
